Wow. My heart is truly bursting with gratitude. I have to admit that I’ve felt a bit alone these past few months. I wondered whether people still believed in and cared about our work in the Amazon. Many long-time supporters have been quiet. Several business partners have shared that, while they value our mission, the current economic climate makes giving difficult this year. And then you – our extraordinary community of rainforest protectors – came through just when it mattered most! Thanks to your generosity, we’ve already raised $13,372 toward our $80,000 goal. What an incredible start.
And there’s even more good news!
David Sutton and The Schachter Family have stepped forward to match the next $10,000 in donations. Such a generous pledge! This means your gift today will go twice as far. More protection of critical jaguar habitat. More expansion of our wildlife corridor. And more support for our dedicated team on the ground in Peru.
Peru’s brilliantly coloured national bird – the Andean Cock-of-the-Rock – enjoys a safe home with our wildlife corridor project.
Your support is making a tangible impact on the wildlife and jungle that urgently need our protection. Let’s keep this momentum going – together. Together, we can defend the Amazon and its wildlife.
