Our Dear Rainforest Guardians,

We are delighted to share some exciting news!

Cindy Reátegui, Executive Director of ARC’s conservation projects in Peru, has been recognized by Forbes Perú as one of the 50 Most Powerful Women of Peru in 2026.

This prestigious recognition celebrates women whose leadership, vision, and achievements are helping shape Peru’s future. Cindy was honoured for her role as a business leader, entrepreneur, and advocate for the sustainable development of the Peruvian Amazon.

While Forbes recognized Cindy primarily for her accomplishments in business and regional development, those of us at ARC know another side of her leadership. Alongside her entrepreneurial work, Cindy dedicates countless hours to rainforest conservation and biodiversity protection. As ARC’s Executive Director of field operations in Peru, she has helped guide our efforts to protect critical wildlife habitat, expand our conservation programs, and strengthen relationships with local governments and communities.

We are incredibly proud to work alongside Cindy. We are grateful for the passion, creativity, and leadership she brings to ARC’s Peru operations every day.

Please join us in congratulating Cindy on this remarkable and well-deserved achievement.
