As hard as it is for me to believe, it’s been 10 years since ARC was founded. We’ve certainly come a long way! I take great pride in the achievements we’ve made over the past decade. As we commemorate our 10-year anniversary of conservation efforts, please join us in celebrating this milestone by supporting our work. Together, we can make 2024 our most successful year yet!

The ARC 2023 Annual Report is currently being finalized and I look forward to sharing it with you soon. In the meantime, let’s look back at some of our accomplishments from the past year.

In 2023, we:

  • peacefully removed 13 illegal mining camps from our brazil nut concession
  • expanded our brazil nut concession with the purchase of 200 more acres
  • planted 400 bamboo trees in areas degraded by the illegal miners
  • extended our wildlife corridor by 103 acres
  • increased our forest guardian team in the north project to six full-time employees
  • reforested 73 acres of degraded land with 37 species of native trees
  • started 13 new communities of indigenous meliponine bees
