At Amazon Rainforest Conservancy Northern Peru (ARCNP), we have been working tirelessly to create a wildlife corridor that will connect the two mountain ranges of the Cordillera Escalera Regional Conservation Area.

Why this project matters

Camera trap evidence shows significant wildlife activity crossing between the two mountain ranges. Unfortunately, these animals are often shot by local farmers.

Join us in expanding our network of safe pathways for wildlife, helping to ensure the survival and growth of the region’s wildlife, with a special focus on the jaguar population.

Our Progress so far

ARCNP has already acquired 9 farms, totalling 394 acres! Our camera traps continue to capture footage of healthy jaguars. Plus, other big cats such as ocelots, margays, pumas, and jaguarundis have also wandered past our cameras. We know we are making a difference!

ARCNP Land Purchases

You Can Help

Your support can make a BIG impact. It will help us buy additional land and cover the costs of our six forest guardians. Our guardians work diligently patrolling, reforesting and protecting the flora and fauna species on our lands.

Want to do more? We are looking for matching donors. Matching donors contribute $10,000 or more and, in addition to supporting a great cause, you’ll be recognized as part of the campaign—unless you prefer to remain anonymous. Please reach out to me directly for more details.

HELP US GROW OUR WILDLIFE CORRIDOR HERE!

Our passion is unwavering. Join us in ensuring that future generations can live in a world where jaguars still roam free in the wild.

Warmest regards,
