Our wildlife corridor project operates in a region facing escalating, interconnected threats. These threats are driving biodiversity loss and ecosystem degradation. Illegal logging is often followed by the deliberate use of fire and herbicides to convert the jungle into cattle pasture and agricultural land. Invasive African pasture grasses rapidly colonize cleared areas and outcompete native vegetation. With each clearing, habitats shrink and ancient wildlife movement routes disappear. Meanwhile, illegal hunting also places additional pressure on species already struggling to survive.
As deforestation expands into previously intact forest, the web of life begins to unravel. Forest connectivity — essential for wildlife, freshwater systems, and climate resilience — is being severed. Without timely intervention, this damage becomes irreversible.
Will you help us protect this forest before it is lost forever?
As of today, we have secured 235.27 hectares. Our future land acquisition priorities have been carefully mapped. Landscape connectivity across Amazon Rainforest Conservancy Northern Peru (ARCNP) owned areas, threat assessments, and known wildlife movement corridors are all critical factors.
Our immediate priority is a 40.7-hectare parcel.
Each hectare protected is a refuge — a safe space where wildlife can move, feed, breed, and survive.
Your support today directly safeguards habitat, strengthens connectivity, and defends one of the most vital ecosystems on Earth.
The jungle cannot wait. The wildlife cannot wait. Please stand with us and help secure this critical 40.7 hectares today.
With gratitude,
